What To Expect

Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress
Sigiriya a massive rock shield elegantly grandeur in the middle of a jungle and, it used to be the capital of ancient Sri Lanka during mid 300 AD. It was found as a fortified retreat but later converted into a great citadel. It had every classical element that a pleasurable kingdom had with all amenities, wall frescoed cave villas, mirror wall water-bound landscaping and a palace in the clouds over the mouth of a giant lion. The plumbing system at Sigiriya rock fortress is an engineering marvel as it uses modern engineering technology to take the water up to the top of the rock.
