Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque

Jami-ul-Alfar Mosque is a beautiful mosque, built in 1909 by contributions from Muslim community, in the heart of Colombo city near Pettah market where Muslims of the surrounding areas gather for prayer and worship five times a day. It is also known as Red Mosque. The bustling area is culturally rich, relatively cheaper, attractive and popular tourist area.
