8:00am: You will be picked up from your hotel in Colombo and driven to visit Gangaramaya Temple which is one of the highlights in Colombo city(Please wear clothes to cover your knees and shoulders when you are visiting temples).

Kaduwela

After the sightseeing of Gangaramaya Temple, you will proceed to visit Mahamewna temple in Malabe. This temple was recently built to benefit the spiritual development of human beings through the teachings of Buddha.

12:00 – 13:00 Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant in Kaduwela.

After Lunch you will be driven to visit Korathota Temple. According to the historical information provided over there, this temple was started in year 01 AD. This temple has two important historical inscriptions, which says this temple was offer to Maha Sanga by a daughter of Mahachula Mahatissa. Second one says one cave offered to Maha Sanga by a provincial leader call Sumana.
