You will be picked up from your hotel in Colombo by our chauffeur guide at 06:30 am and commence the day tour to Kandy.

On the way stop at a Spice garden where you will be introduced different spices of Sri Lanka and see how the spices are grown, harvested and produced. Then have lunch at a local restaurant.(Your expense)

Royal Botanical Gardens

Thereafter you will be moved to the historical Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden, the largest garden in Sri Lanka where you can witness the mesmerizing flora, fauna and thousands of indegious plants. History of the garden goes back to the 19th century and hence some of the trees are more than hundreds of years old. You will be an eyewitness of all these trees, plants and the Orchid and Rose collections which the garden is most famous for.

Kandy

End of the enchanting tour of the Royal garden shift to the city of Kandy where there was the last Kingdom of Sri Lanka. Before visiting the highlights of Kandy take a break and enjoy the lunch at a local restaurant.

Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic

After that transfer to Kandy and visit the temple of the sacred tooth relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa). This is one of the most sacred and important place of Buddhists. You will be able to see the room where the tooth relic is kept and many other places including Aluth Maligawa, Audience hall and World Buddhism museum.

Thereafter commence the sightseeing of Kandy city including Kandy lake, view point, Kandy city center , Kandy Market. Next you will be taken to visit Gem museum ,wood carving shop and silk shop.
