Overview

A tour where Food Tasting and History of independence comes together. The tour covers Colombo in full !

You will taste all sorts of street food, and have dinner with a local experience, but at a selected place ensuring decent standards. Street foods are naturally spicy and come in small portions to try, but I ensure dinner to be edible by anyone and a standard portion.

You will listen to the story of independance while visiting the places in the chronological order. I use maps and diagrans to explain the places which are related to our story.

Visitors of any age can join this, and Im flexible to adjust depending on their specific requirements. (Ex. if you do not wish to have street food, lets replace that with some traditional dessert).

You may take photographs as much as you want.

Sri lankan style String Hoppers with white curry, Kottu Roti or Rice options. Spicy options are available on request

Upto 6 snacks at selected locations including "Isso Vade" (Deep fried prawns on bread crust), Hoppers with sambol, Vegetable or Fish Rotti (Savory), Badapu Kadala (Savory), Bombai Motai (a mild sweet)
